Prostate Cancer Interview
Can miracles happen if we grow fully into confidence, compassion, wisdom, acceptance, inner peace, and witnessing? No. But the quality of the life that creates itself through us can indeed feel miraculous.
When life-threatening disease strikes, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. It’s important to remember that the most valuable help we can give is to create a stronger connection with the wellsprings of health and life within.
Can miracles happen if we grow fully into confidence, compassion, wisdom, acceptance, inner peace, and witnessing? No. But the quality of the life that creates itself through us can indeed feel miraculous.
Disease and death are our personal microcosmic reflection of the epic battle in the world between the forces of life and nature, on the one hand, and war, exploitation, and global warming on the other. This interview explores that relationship.

This was the final interview of our friend, student, and Integral Deep Listening Practitioner, Gundrun Lemm. I have added to it the original German interview and some remarks.
“I looked into this foal’s eyes and saw the face of a beautiful old, wise woman. She had such confidence and depth and wisdom in her eyes. We just looked at each other and caressed each other.”
Can cancer cells be reasoned with? We don’t know, but we do know that it is possible to reason with our mental representations of our cancer cells. How much do our mental representations of things create our health and sickness? Again, we do not know, but the following interview, the fifth in this series with Sarah, who is in the final segment of Stage IV stomach cancer, implies that we have a lot to learn from undertaking such a dialogue.
Sarah is much more at peace with her condition, whether she lives or dies.
Cells, I am very thankful that you are thinking over your future. It sounds like you want to change in some aspects. You have a very thick core and you have some genes that are dividing quickly and growing. What strategy do you want to choose to change? Do you have an idea of the steps you need to take?
Someday it will be normal to include self-aspects in Tumor Conferences in cancer wards at hospitals. After all, where does healing come from? How important is a patient’s communication with their body to the healing process? How important is communication among the different players in the disease and healing process to recovery?
The self-aspects that you interview were never born, so they do not fear death. Many never had the life experiences that taught you to fear or give up hope. If you listen to them, they will teach you how to live.
