While interviewing a dream character is simply a matter of choosing, becoming, and answering pre-selected questions as a dream monster, cloud, gun, or toilet brush, interviewing a life issue requires more explanation. Write three life issues that matter to you. Choose the one that brings up the strongest feelings. Name those feelings and write them down: scared, frustrated, sad, angry, confused…What color(s) does that feeling or feelings remind you of? Write it down. If that color were to condense or congeal into a form, what would it be? Write a description. Your daytime worries, concerns, and issues are metaphorically depicted as characters in dream relationships. Once you create a character that personifies your concern or life issue, it will describe its relationships in the following interview.
