Dream Sociodrama is a group adaptation of Integral Deep Listening that asks a group member to share a dream or life trauma/issue. A character, generally the antagonist or an inanimate object, is chosen and the group members respond to questions in the IDL Interviewing Protocol not as the character in the shared dream or life issue, but as their own version. The person who had the experience then shares what they have heard and their own version of the character is interviewed, with the individual and group giving feedback about what has been heard and an action plan formulated. A full description of the process and its underlying assumptions is available here.
