Dancing yourself to inner peace and healing

Someday you’ll face your own death. When you do, will you be in touch with a part of yourself that loves you unconditionally and that never dies? Susanne’s cancer has spread throughout her body and medicine has little to offer her.  Should she despair? How can she tap deep wellsprings of health and happiness within?  Sarah didn’t know how, but other parts of her, like this spiral, do.

What is a fundamental life issue that you are dealing with now in your life?

Cancer; possible stomach cancer.

Sensitivity toward noise.  It feels like physical violence.

The gastroscopy ahead of me today is like the day of truth.  Whatever the outcome is I want to be able to deal with it well.

Weather, would you prefer that we interview Sarah’s stomach, her cancer, or her fear that she has stomach cancer? What do you suggest?

(Note: Weather is a high-scoring self-aspect from an earlier interview.)

Which issue brings up the strongest feelings for you?

Fear that she won’t be able to deal with the outcome well.  (“I became very sad because the last two days I got much more in touch with my very changed and confused intestinal tract.  A constant feeling of being slightly suffocated, not being able to breathe properly, as if someting was blocking my throat.  Also a burning fluid coming up.  Reflux. A feeling of sickness and nausea.  Sadness, fear, worry…“)

If those feelings had a color (or colors), what would it be?

Different colors, multicolored.  With a grey veil over them.

Stomach: I am red.  I am inflamed.

Imagine that color filling the space in front of you so that it has depth, height, width, and aliveness.

Now watch that color swirl, congeal, and condense into a shape. Don’t make it take a shape, just watch it and say the first thing that you see or that comes to your mind: An animal? Object? Plant? What?

A red spiral

Now remember how as a child you liked to pretend you were a teacher or a doctor?  It’s easy and fun for you to imagine that you are the shape that took form from your color and answer some questions I ask, saying the first thing that comes to your mind.  If you wait too long to answer, that’s not the character answering – that’s YOU trying to figure out the right thing to say!

Red Spiral, would you please tell me about yourself and what you are doing?

I’m red, but I can change my color and my shape.  I’m inside of her.  I’m in her stomach.  I move up and down.

What do you like most about yourself? What are your strengths?

That I can move.  I can dance.  I’m dancing around inside her stomach to create a balance inside her.  Sometimes I dance very slowly; sometimes I’ll have more energy because I want to support Susanne.  I can feel when Sarah needs me. (Tears)

What’s Susanne feeling right now, Spiral?

She feels my support and your support.

Is there anything we can do to help you support Susanne, Spiral?

Your questions are very good.  I can and I will move the cells that are ill, that are sick to calm down.

What do you dislike most about yourself? Do you have weaknesses?  What are they?

None.

Spiral, you are in Susanne’s life experience, correct?  Susanne created you, right? What aspect of Susanne do you represent or most closely personify?

Her self-healing ability.

Spiral, if you could be anywhere you wanted to be and take any form you desired, would you change?  If so, how?

No.  I’m a very soft spiral.  I want to remain where I am and what I am.

(Continue, answering as the transformed object, if it chose to change.)

Spiral, how would you score yourself 0-10, in each of the following six qualities:  confidence, compassion, wisdom, acceptance, inner peace, and witnessing?  Why?

Confidence: 10

Compassion:   9

Wisdom: 10

Acceptance: 10

Inner Peace:   9

Witnessing: 10

Spiral, if you scored tens in all six of these qualities, would you be different?  If so, how?

Not a big difference

How would zf’s life be different if she naturally scored like you do in all six of these qualities all the time?

Then she would be as confident as I am.

Tell us about your confidence, Spiral….

I can move slowly, faster, the way I need to do my work and live my life with Susanne.  I just have the confidence that I can support her.

How does it feel that Susanne is in contact with you?

I’m so happy!

How come?

I’ve tried and tried to make contact, but she was so busy!

If you could live Susanne’s life for her, how would you live it differently?

I would concentrate on and support her joy of life!  I wish to live!  I would say that it is no shame at all to for her to accept money from her father. It’s silly to wish at such moments to stand on your own two feet and not accept money.  And she can also accept money from the government because she does good enough work to feel good about accepting it.  It’s time for her to let go of that pride that keeps her from accepting that kind of money.  The effect if she doesn’t is not taking good enough care of herself.  She’ll use her pride as an excuse to not take good enough care of herself.

If you could live Susanne’s waking life for her today, would you handle Susanne’s life issues differently?  If so, how?

1. Regarding the cancer, live!  The life that Sarah used to lead was quite good.  A life of being close to herself and her own needs was quite good.  She was closer to me and to nature and to her friends than lately.  Regarding the test for stomach cancer, I love her and I will support her.  It doesn’t matter to me what the result is.  I’m going to continue to dance in any case.

Regarding the sounds:  they don’t affect me.  I’m dancing and listening to my own music!  Sometimes I hear beautiful music, beautiful voices.  Sometimes the sound of raindrops are beautiful!  She can always follow me and dance with me!  If she does, she will have her inner peace back and inner health back.

That’s a big promise!  Why do you think that?

I already experience her as having that inner peace and that inner health.

What three life issues would you focus on if you were in charge of Susanne’s life?

The main thing I would focus on is to stay close to herself, to not lose contact with me.  She can remember me and you can remember me and remind her.

So when we see her we can ask you if Susanne has been dancing with you?

Yes!

In what life situations would it be most beneficial for Sarah to imagine that she is you and act as you would?

Everytime she feels she is losing her balance.  When she dances with me she can find her balance or will remain in balance.

Spiral, do you do drama?  If not, why not?

No.  All I do is dance!  I don’t like drama!

What is your secret for staying out of drama?

I just keep moving.  I just dance right through and out of it!

Why do you think that you are in Susanne’s life?

She needs me today!

How is Susanne most likely to ignore what you are saying to her?

I have already witnessed her enjoying me and listening to me today!

When feelings come up during the test and with the diagnosis what can she do about it?

Just to take my spiral hand and dance with me…

How do you work?

I whisk stuff away.  I clean her stomach!

Your’re kind of like a magical spiral broom???

On the one hand with gentle swoops I’m cleaning Sarah’s stomach of cell debris and mutated cellls.  On the other hand, with my dancing, I support her being balanced and increasing her inner peace, her energy, and give her the joy to dance together!

Spiral, how do you view your present surroundings (in a hospital room)?

I can also support Mirko.  He has confidence in me and in my work.  He knows the joy of dancing and the healing energy that comes with dancing.  He has been of great support.

Would it also help if Mirko supported Susanne by saying, “Please take the spiral’s hand?”

Yes!!

Susanne, what have you heard yourself say?

How happy the spiral is to be back in contact with me.  I’m happy about that too!  I like to hear Spiral say how many good experiences we’ve been through with each other in past years.  Depth and height.  I have great confidence in this spiral!

That I can let go of the pride that keeps me from accepting financial support.  The worth of the work I do for society means I’ve earned it.

“She’s worked enough.  It’s time to live.”

Regarding the noises and sounds from outside, my spiral dances and gets me out of it.

She will hear my music and the raindrops and the birds.

“Silence is a beautiful sound.

The spiral represents inner balance, the power of healing, and the joy of life.  And inspiration!  It’s always there for me.  It doesn’t care what the outcome of the examinations are.  It will dance its dance whatever the outcome.  It doesn’t do drama and dances right through it!  It can protect me from getting into drama.

If this experience were a wake-up call from your soul, what do you think it would be saying to you?

Keep calm.  No need to have drama.  You always can dance it away!  You can dance yourself to inner peace and healing!
